Drawing cdk filled me with excitement, nostalgia, and joy. He’s truly one of the artists here who has musically inspired me most — from the very start. So it seemed appropriate to cross this monumental 21st anniversary with his stems Finish Line.
I started writing to Fact and Finish Line in parallel but this one started to consume me. I hope to circle back to Fact as well; those stems are also of the highest quality.

Fathers, daughters draw lines politics are over-weighted
Pulling left and right arms apart
In the middle lies the heart
Who can defibrillate it?
Continental, our divide, it’s formulated
Strategy refined, blurring hatred with the sacred
And we wait it out
Till the tower falls down
On the land that’s degraded
Love in a way they don’t understand
Light in the dark, they can’t comprehend
Live in a way they won’t understand
They don’t understand
They won’t understand
Guard your energy
In Rumi’s field we’re planting seeds
Nourish your energy
What you will grow is what you feed
Align your energy
So we can jump to hyperspeed

Paralysis is their intention
Fascism is no new invention
Spewing sickness on the hour
Contagion of power
Spreading by vicious contention
A faceless militia kidnapping us
Not to mention
